Watch a fun new take on a great tradition, the Bambu Stage Shadow Puppets in Siem Reap
The twelve puppeteers have been working hard to revive an old tradition and give it a 21st century twist. Wild and just a little bit crazy, the present a 50-minute show- from traditional stories to moody experimental works and physical theatre where the puppets leap from the screen.
Each character and puppeteer are introduced so the audience can identify the action, and they speak in both English and Khmer.
This is a great opportunity to support gifted artists as they learn new skills and tell their stories from the heart of Cambodia.
